ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Tweens and teens can go through phases of great conflict with their parents or parental figures (including foster parents). Developmentally, they are seeing independence through self-expression. Even though it’s typical to experience more conflict in those years, it’s not easy.
This video provides a framework for the conflict parents experience with tweens and teens as well as 6 steps for navigating the conflict well.
